No more updates
Hey, small update to let you know this will no longer receive updates. I have lost control of the codebase and Game Maker isn't exactly the greatest engine when it comes to keeping things manageable. There's random glitches and bugs I don't even understand, and part of the reason is that Game Maker, unlike other engines, does not let you keep things manageable enough.
If this game ever makes a return, it wouldn't be a sonic game but follow all the same concepts. Here is an image of the map screen that was gonna be in version 3 way back when.

well, it's sad to see such a great project come to an end.
but what did i expect? everything i touch ends up ruined.

ah that sucks. oh well. maybe someone could revive this but it probably wouldn't happen since this game isn't very well known.

If there is enough demand I might just revive it.
I come from BTG's YouTube channel, saw this and immediately downloaded it. I hope you find the drive to revive this, or perhaps allow others to implement it's system into other sonic level creators since this has a save/load boss function. Make a boss - make a level - load the boss into the level. Amazing stuff, super fun, hope you revive it.
I know that BTG has ~1 million views right now on his video about this. That means that amount of people know about this. He also put a download link to the game's main page.
