ls_alley

My submission for LDJam8. The original idea was to have an alley that you traverse, that keeps evolving and adding different elements, becoming more and more intense. This map here is like a tiny version of that concept. It would match the theme evolve because the same environment keeps evolving into new things, and it's a special place because it's an alley that loops onto itself.

Note: Unfortunately while making this project, I suddenly had a relapse of anxiety which prevented me from working or enjoying much of anything. That's why I rushed the last bit of the level, I was going to expand the laundromat slightly, add another alley and lead into the chopper battle like that. To reduce stress and to prioritize my health, I instead cut it a bit short. Even so, I'm still proud of the project as it gives me at least two nice scenes to showcase (the start and the square playground puzzle area)
